Our Method
The Legacy: Observing the Cost of Achievement

The understanding of health began through observation. High-performing professionals often dedicate everything to their careers, yet over time experience a gradual decline in mobility and physical independence. Professional success can become overshadowed by chronic pain, loss of movement, and reduced quality of life.

The Failure: Managing the System, Ignoring the Hardware

After three decades working in information technology managing complex systems and ensuring uptime for organizations, the body’s own “system” reached critical failure.

At a peak weight of 540 pounds, daily medications were required to manage symptoms created by a sedentary and high-stress career. Basic movement became restricted due to severe mobility limitations.

The problem was not simply being out of shape — it was total systemic collapse of the body’s functional architecture.

The Debugging: A Scientific Re-Engineering

Recovery was approached using the same engineering mindset used to troubleshoot complex systems: identifying root causes rather than focusing on superficial metrics like weight alone.

This led to formal clinical training including NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) credentials, and a focus on key physiological drivers of real change:

Targeted Hypertrophy

rebuilding metabolic tissue necessary to support large-scale recovery.

Posterior Chain Integrity

correcting mobility limitations caused by long-term neglect and sedentary lifestyle.

Scientific Periodization

structured progression designed to transition away from medication dependence toward sustainable physical capability.

The Purpose: The Bridge Between Doctor and Daily Life

Praxis Performance was built to serve as a bridge between medical care and everyday physical function.

The approach combines clinical training with a 30-year background in enterprise IT systems, applying technical precision to human performance and rehabilitation.

Using tools such as LiDAR 3D spatial mapping and neuromuscular sensors, protocols are built on measurable data rather than guesswork, ensuring that each program is structured with clinical accuracy and accountability.

Clinical Standards

Praxis Performance provides clinical strength and conditioning designed to support health goals, working alongside medical care rather than replacing medical diagnosis or physical therapy.

Client health data is protected using strict HIPAA-level privacy standards and encrypted data management systems.
