Clinical Philosophy / Ethos

At Praxis Performance, our work is transformative, providing a safe, objective space focused entirely on your growth. Our ethos is guided by six core principles:

Sanctuary of the Session

All sessions are confidential, with performance and nutrition data shared only with authorized medical teams; anonymized data may be used for research, except in cases of immediate harm reporting.

Radical Objectivity

Client goals take priority; referrals are provided when another professional is better suited, ensuring professional judgment always outweighs personal preference.

Space for Excellence

Sessions are high-focus and energy-managed, limiting coaching outside scheduled sessions to preserve effectiveness and maintain professional boundaries.

Clinical Oversight

Mutual respect is required to ensure results, including valuing time, maintaining a safe space, and enforcing zero tolerance for discriminatory or disrespectful behavior.

Boundary of Integrity

Clear professional boundaries are maintained, with a 90-day transition if personal relationships arise, and social discretion is always respected

Professional Lane

Services focus on physical performance and movement strategy, while medical, therapy, or licensed nutrition needs are referred to qualified professionals.

Reciprocal Respect

Mutual respect is required to ensure results, including valuing time, maintaining a safe space, and enforcing zero tolerance for discriminatory or disrespectful behavior.
